Relationship to Citipointe Church Brisbane

COCB is a ministry of Citipointe Church Brisbane, mother church of the Christian Outreach Centre movement, an evangelical, charismatic church.

Church Governance

Australian Christian Outreach Centres are governed by one central committee, the Oversight Committee of Christian Outreach Centre, as described in the church’s constitution. 

Incorporation

Christian Outreach Centre is established by Letters Patent under the Religious and Charitable Institutions Act. 

Christian Outreach College Brisbane and Citipointe Church Brisbane

Citipointe Church Brisbane has a Committee of Management, appointed by and chaired by the Senior Pastor.  The Senior Pastor and this Committee has appointed as a sub-committee the College Board of COCB.

Governing Body

COCB's College Board is responsible through the Committee of Management of Citipointe Church Brisbane to the Oversight Committee of Christian Outreach Centre (the ultimate Governing Body of COCB).

Reporting to the Governing Body by COCB

COCB reports to the Oversight Committee of Christian Outreach Centre through the Committee of Management of Citipointe Church Brisbane.  The Senior Pastor of Citipointe Church Brisbane is a member of the College Board, the Chairman of the Committee of Management of Citipointe Church Brisbane, and a member of the Oversight Committee. 

Financial Accountability by COCB to the Church and the Governing Body

The annual financial accounts of COCB, together with a short written report on the College, are published in the Annual Report of Citipointe Church Brisbane, and in the consolidated Annual Report of Christian Outreach Centre.
