Dr Joseph Kim is the Senior Pastor of Wonchon Baptist Church, Suwon, Korea, Founder and Chaplain of Central Christian Academy, Suwon, Korea and Field Director for Christian Service, Inc. Korea. The son of Dr Billy Kim (President of the Baptist World Alliance, and Pastor of Central Baptist Church Suwon), Joe is married to Enny Cho Kim. They have four children: Aaron, Sharon, Karen and Lauren.

Dr Kim Graduated from Yoo Shin High School, Suwon, Korea, in 1979. He graduated Bachelor of Arts in Bible from Tennessee Temple University, Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1983. He was awarded Master of Religious Education from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois, in 1985 and Doctor of Christian Education from Trinity Divinity School in 1990.

From 1983~1984 Joe served as Youth Pastor at Red Bank Baptist Church, Illinois. He was Youth Pastor at Golf Road Baptist Church, Illinois from 1984~1985, Youth Pastor at Chicago Central Church, Illinois from 1985~1990, and Education Pastor at Central Baptist Church, Suwon, Korea from 1990~1995.

Dr Kim has been a Keynote Conference speaker for the following international events:

• Missionary and Christian Overseas Schools Conference (Seoul Korea, 1999)

• Asia-Pacific Federation of Christian Schools (Gold Coast Australia, 2000)

• International Christian Educators’ Conference (Budapest Hungary, 2001)

• International Christian Educators’ Conference (Quito Ecuador, 2002)

• Teachers Conference of Christian Schools Australia -Queensland (Emmanuel College Gold Coast Australia, 2002)

He has been an Interpreter/Korean Language Coordinator for following international conferences:

• Southern California Billy Graham Crusade (Anaheim CA, 1985)

• International Conference for Itinerant Evangelists (Amsterdam Holland, 1983/1986)

• Baptist World Alliance Congress (Seoul Korea, 1990)

Dr Joe Kim was the Keynote Speaker for the Biennial Teachers Conference of Christian Schools Australia (Queensland) in July 2002, and visited Christian Outreach College Brisbane campus for the first time.
